Join us at the Community House to mark the Winter Solstice - the longest night of the year. We will have a firepit on the lawn and hot cocoa bar, music, games and activities, and a “What Brings You Light?” tree activity inside. This will be a warm, welcoming, community gathering. We invite everyone to come to reflect on the past year and to reconnect with light and hope for the coming year ahead.
The event is family-friendly.
We hope to see you there!

On Friday, May 15, we hosted the North Country Chamber Players Woodwind Quintet open rehearsal.

They rehearsed an arrangement of Prokofiev's Peter and the Wolf, complete with narration!
It was interesting to see how they worked out pacing and making the narrative fit with the music.
Thank you to all the musicians! We hope you come back soon!

On Friday, May 9th Renee Blacken presented:
 Team fOARtysomething:
Renee Rows the Atlantic

Why row an ocean? How long will it take? Is there a chase boat? What's the food like? Where does it start and finish? How can you get involved to support this expedition and cause? I'l be giving a talk about my upcoming solo transatlantic row and the nonprofit I'm supporting, Outdoor Adventuring for Good.

Come find out what it takes to prepare to row an ocean!

The LCC Board of Trustees had a work day on Saturday.

We are in the process of cleaning out the Carriage Barn to get it ready for the renovation work due to begin in April. In the process we found these adorable gingerbread people! Thank you to Regina, Kathy and Mary for being good sports!

We will be scheduling more work days soon to empty everything from the Carriage Barn.

The Littleton Community Center hosts many different groups throughout the year!

One of our sweetest groups is the North Country Beekeepers Association. They use the Heald Room and the virtual meeting equipment for their "Bee School" each year!
